Mangalore: Body of Man Recovered from River

Mangalore, Mar 1: The body of a person was found floating in Gurpur River near Kuloor in the city on Monday February 28. Later, it was identified as belonging to David alias Daved (65) from Kavoor.

Reportedly, David had left home and was residing in Katipalla area since the last 15 years. He was alone, and did not have any contact with family or relatives. The policemen feel that he might have committed suicide, having been frustrated with his lonely life.

A person named Lancy D’Souza from Bangrakuloor, who saw the body in the river, had filed a complaint with Kavoor police station.
