Mangalore, Mar 1: USA Safety Alliance chairman, Tim Robert, and Betty Robert, will be visiting the city from March 14 to 25, on an invitation from the city-based Western Institute of Technology. This information was given by Western Institute of Technology president, Walter Stephen Mendes, in a release.
During the visit, Tim will be conducting a number of workshops on safety. He will also conduct an integrated training in ‘Occupational Safety and Health Hazards in General Industry and Construction Industry’ in Western Institute of Technology here.
This international level training will facilitate the concerned to bag jobs in the country and abroad. In addition to a certificate from Safety Alliance, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) card of the USA labour department will be issued to the trainees. Not only the students of Western Institute, but also the other students can participate in this training programme, Mendes explained in the release.
