Kundapura: Bhandarkar’s College Alumni Association Celebrates Annual Day

Kundapur, Mar 1:
  “The officers who maintain law and order in society should hold social responsibility and obligations in high esteem,” said deputy superintendent of police Jayant Shetty.
 
He was speaking during the annual day celebrations of the Alumni Association of Bhandarkar’s Arts and Science College here, recently.
 
The presentation ceremony in honor of Major Sandeep Unikrishnan was held during the programme.
 
Regional sub-division NCC officer Sadashiv Prabhu advised the outgoing cadets not to abandon disciplined training once they complete their studies and to pursue careers in life.  He said that the contact with their Alma Mater will keep them informed of each other’s progress in career and life.
 
Professor Chandrashekar Dhoma presided over the programme.
 
ASP Rama Nivas Sepat and Koteshwar Gurukul Education Trust director Subhaschandra Bhanya were the chief guests.
 
Durgamba Motors managing director Krishnananda Chatra, Bangalore-based software engineer Ganesh, state prize winner K Satish Pai (Kullappu), and taluk Photographers’ Association president Girish were the guests of honour. 
 
Town councilor K Mohandas Shenoy and Uday Kumar were present on the dais.
