Udupi: Student Breathes his Last in Accident

Udupi, Feb 28: Preetesh (18) from Handadi near Brahmavar, breathed his last in Manipal Hospital on Sunday February 27. He was gravely injured in an accident that occurred on Saturday near Mabukala in the taluk.

Prettesh was moving in his motor bike along with his friend, Agnello from Salikeri near Brahmavar, when their two-wheeler hit a tanker. Both got seriously injured. Preetesh succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. Agnello is recovering.

Preetesh, a second PU student of St Aloysius College Mangalore, had come home during the study holidays. A case was registered in this respect, at Brahmavar police station.
