Moodbidri, Feb 24: A motor bike rider lost his life after a tempo hit his vehicle on the evening of Wednesday February 23. The accident occurred at Mastikatte on Iruvail Road near here.
The deceased has been identified as Satish (55), a native of Kerala, and a resident of Konnepadav, Hosabettu near here. Satish, who had married a lady from Badaga Yedapadav village, had built a new house at Konnepadav a few years back.
When he was carrying his two children in his motor bike from the town to Konnepadav, a tempo hit the rear side of the motor bike, while trying to overtake it. The tempo escaped from the place after knocking Satish down. Satish, whose head hit the road, lost his life on the spot. His two children escaped with minor injuries.
