Mulki, Feb 22: The programme conducted by Karnire Relief Organization, Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia is commendable and KRO through its noble activities has done noticeable job, said MLA Abhayachandra Jain.
He was the chief guest at a farewell given to 8 youths of Karnire Jamate who are moving to Saudi on employment purpose. Karnire Relief Organization which is a union of NRI’s in Saudi Arabia has provided them with visa and flight fares at the cost of Rs 17 lac. The programme was organized in Karnire Jumma Masjid on Friday February 18.
Janab K S Sayeed, president of Karnire Jamate presided over the programme and wished all success for the youths for their future.
Moideen Bava , president, DK District Congress Minority Cell was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion he said that this noble work of youngsters of Karnike village is ideal one and other unions also can work on the path led by these youngsters.
Taluk panchayath member Nelson Lobo, Mulki township president B M Asif, Kannangar Juma Masjid president H M Mohammed, social worker of Mulki M B Noor Mohammed, retired gram panchayath secretary Harishchandra Shetty among others spoke on the occasion.
Karnire gram panchayath former president Prabhakar Shetty, gram panchayath vice-president Jerome D’Souza, gram panchayath member Dinesh Kumar, H K Siddiq, Basheer and other office bearers of Karnire Jamate were present.
The programme began with a dua by Kathib Dawood Sayeed. M P Moidinabba compered the programme and delivered vote of thanks.
