Udupi, Feb 16: The district deputy commissioner has issued A notification, making changes in the bus routes, for the convenience of the general public.

All the buses coming into the town from the direction of Kundapur have to move on national highway 17 and reach the local bus stand via Ambalpady Circle, Brahmagiri Circle and taluk office.

Expresses buses towards Kundpur have to move via Hotel Kediyoor, Bannaje Road and join national highway 17 at Karavali Circle.

Shuttle buses towards Kundapur have to move in front of Tourist Hotel, Hanuman Junction, K M Marg, taluk office, Brahmagiri Circle and Ambalpady Circle, and then through national highway 17.

City buses towards Malpe and Kallianpur Santekatte should reach Karavali Circle via Bannaje Road. City buses coming in from Malpe and Santekatte should move to Ambalpady Circle from Karavali Circle and reach bus stand via taluk office, Court Road and K M Marg.

The regional transport officer has cautioned the bus owners to ensure that the buses move as per the notification of the deputy commissioner, failing which, action will be taken against them.
