Udupi: Lady from Goa Dies in Lodge

Udupi, Feb 12: Asha Gurudat Desai (58), a resident of Goa, died in a lodge here. Her body was found in her room on Friday February 11.

Asha had hired a room in the said lodge on February 9. As she did not open the door of the room even after knocking, the door was broken open. The lifeless body of the lady was found lying in the bathroom of the lodge. Prima facie, it does not appear to be a case of either suicide or murder. The death appears to have been caused by accidental fall, it is said.

The local policemen have registered a case of unnatural death.
