Dubai: Tulu novel ‘Puddu Kodthar Koragerna Gurikara’ to be released on April 24

Dubai, April 20: New Tulu novel ‘Puddu Kodthar Koragerna Gurikara’ written by dramatist and advocate Shashiraj Rao Kavoor will be released at Rolex Tower, Deira, Dubai, UAE at 10.30 am on April 24.

The programme will be held under the aegis of Dubai based Gammath Kalavider. Sarvotham Shetty, president of Karnataka Sangha, Abu Dhabi will be releasing the book.

Harish Bangera, honorary president of Gammath Kalavider and film producer will chair the programme. Karnataka NRI forum president Pravin Kumar Shetty Vakwadi, film producer Ronald Martis, arts director, author Ganesh Rai, Sharjah Karnataka Sangha former president Sathish Poojary, current president M E Muloor, Gammath Kalavider Dubai president Rajesh Kuthar and others will take part as guests of honour.

The novel consists of the lifestyle of the Koraga community, the original residents of Tulu Nadu and children of Tulu soil. It also has various events in Tulu Nadu. Programme organizer and Gammath Kalavider team’s chief secretary Girish Narayan has sought the support of Tuluvas for the service to Tulu literature and spreading the aroma of Tulu language in the Gulf nation by the release of the book.
