Prabhu Deva choreographs song for Vadivelu in 'Naai Sekar Returns'


Chennai, Apr 19 (IANS): It is now official! Dance choreographer-actor-director Prabhu Deva has choreographed a song for comedian Vadivelu in his comeback film, 'Naai Sekar Returns'.

Lyca Productions, the firm producing the film, took to Twitter to confirm rumours about the two stars working together again.

Lyca said, "Excited to announce Prabhu Deva master has choreographed a song for 'Naai Sekar Returns'. Witness our Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu's 'thaaru maaru' moves again..."

On Sunday, Prabhu Deva had posted a video clip of himself with the popular Tamil comedian Vadivelu on Twitter. In the clip, Vadivelu was seen singing the song in a funny fashion even as Prabhu Deva looked on.

The clip, which went viral, put a smile on scores of fans of Tamil cinema and triggered rumours of Prabhu Deva choreographing a song for Vadivelu in the film which is being directed by Suraaj.

The news has thrilled fans of Vadivelu and Prabhu Deva as the two have been a formidable combo when it comes to delivering humour in Tamil cinema.

The two have worked together in several Tamil films like 'Manadhai Thirudi Vittaai', 'Kadhalan', 'Villu', 'Mr Romeo' and 'Engal Anna' and all of them feature hilarious sequences. Now, fans are thrilled that Prabhu Deva is choreographing a song for Vadivelu's comeback film.
