Kadekar Revati (26) had got herself admitted into the maternity ward of KMC Hospital. On Thursday February 3, a person who looked like a doctor, told her to remove ornaments before he could administer an injection to her. As per his instructions, she kept the ornaments under the pillow. The person then acted like emptying the contents of a syringe into her neck region, asked her to close her eyes, and went away.

The woman found to her dismay later that the ornaments, which had been kept under the pillow by her, had gone missing.
