Bantwal, Feb 4: A boy from Gummatabettu in Kavalamudoor village in the taluk committed suicide on Thursday February 3, angered by the delay in serving food to him.

Santosh (11), son of Ramesh Devadiga, a fifth standard student of the local school, came home and asked his mother to serve him food. Reportedly, rice was ready to be served, and the mother said that the dish she was cooking would take some more time to be ready.
