Udupi: Thieves make best use of opportunity - Steal gold through window

Udupi, Mar 28: It is reported that thieves committed theft of gold ornaments kept in the hall of a house by using a hook or some such object which was inserted through the window. This incident happened at Gundibail here.

A Tendulkar chain weighing six and half sovereigns and a three and half sovereign golden chain having blue locket, were stolen. Their total value has been put at Rs 3,60,000.

A complaint in this connection has been registered in the town police station.
