Mangalore, Jan 22: Canfest 2011, a state level inter-collegiate commerce and management fest was inaugurated at T V Raman Pai Convention Centre on Friday January 21. President of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industries G G Mohan Prabhu inaugurated the fest.
The two day inter-collegiate festival has been organized with the object of assessing management skills among the students. Leadership skills development, practical exposure, team spirit development are also the purpose of this fest.
Mijar Sadanand Pai, member, governing council, CHSA, presided over the programme. Prof Shivananda Bhat, principal, Canara College, Prof M Sathish Bhat, head of the commerce department, Sushma R Shetty, convenor, Smitha M, co-convenor, Varun Kamath, student co-ordinator, Sanjay S Bhat, joint student co-ordinator present on the occasion.
