Mumbai, Mar 14: Devendra Fadnavis, former CM of Maharashtra was quizzed by cyber police on the alleged leak of confidential data and documents from the state intelligence department. The questioning was done on Sunday by the sleuths.

After the quizzing FAdnavis said, “I was asked questions like whether it was right to do such a thing and whether I do not feel ashamed of violating the official secrets act. Apart from these some other questions were also thrown at me. I have answered them to my satisfaction.”

It is said that Fadnavis denied any leaking of confidential documents. He said that he acted true to his position by not giving the pen drive and transcripts of data to anyone. Case is also filed against five unidentified persons.

“Except for the covering letter of the report I did not bring any document in public domain and handed over all documents and data to union home ministry. Action should be initiated against Nawab Malik who leaked the transcripts to the press. Whistleblower’s act should be applied on Malik. The government sat on the report for a good six months which prevented me from giving the documents,” said Fadnavis.
