Kundapura, Jan 17: Young photographer Santhosh Kundeshwar won the consolation prize for his picture depicting the playful nature of sibling tigers in the prestigious competition ‘Sanctuary R B S Wildlife Award – 2010’ held recently in Thiruvananthapuram by the Nature Club under ‘Green Venus 2010’ competition.
Santhosh is one of the five competitors who have so far won the honour from Nature Club, Thiruvananthapuram. The competition is internationally recognized and this year Santhosh and Kadoor Sandesh’s pictures were selected by the panel of judges. Their pictures were published in the magazine of international repute ‘Sanctuary Asia’.
Besides, Kundeshwar has also won prizes awarded at the F I P competition held in Taiwan and Singapore in addition to other prizes presented in Kolkata and Mumbai.
