Airtel Launches Value-added SMS Services in Bangladesh


Dhaka, Jan 14 (IANS) Mobile solution provider Comviva has entered into a strategic partnership with Airtel Bangladesh to provide value-added short messaging services to cellphone users in the country.

The agreement will enable Airtel, an arm of the Indian telecom major Bharti Telecom, with a single-window web-based system to access, create, execute and manage value-added services.

The new services will be offered to the consumers under Airtel's unstructured supplementary service data (USSD), short message service (SMS) centre and bulk messaging gateway (BMG) portfolio.
