Mangaluru, March 4: Thippanna Nagavva Madara (37), resident of Ramadurga, Belagavi serving as the assistant police sub inspector at the department's Fingerprint Section, passed away while walking on a road here on Friday, March 4.
Reportedly, the deceased was walking to the finger print section in the district SP office at about 4 PM when he fell sick near A B Shetty circle and collapsed.
The CAR staff, assistant head constable Ramesh tended to him and admitted him to M V Shetty hospital where he was provided first aid and rushed by ambulance to KMC Hospital Jyothi for additional treatment.
But he was declared brought dead by KMC doctors.
Thippanna had joined the police department as a constable in 2011. He was working as a head constable at Bagalkot when he got promoted as ASI and posted to the district fingerprint section six months ago.
He has left behind his wife Deepa and children, six-year-old Niharika, three-and-a-half year old Anvita and one-and-a half year old Nishanth.
