Bantwal, Feb 1: Tahsildar D Archana Bhat praised Madivala Machidev for his significant role in the preservation of Vachana literature and religion.
Speaking at the Bantwal taluk-level Madivala Machidev Jayanti celebration on Saturday, February 1, she emphasised the importance of cleansing the metaphorical well within one's heart, a message conveyed through Machidev's Vachanas.
The event, held at the B C Road Mini Vidhana Soudha, began with the lighting of the lamp and offering of floral tributes.
Present at the event were Narendra Nath Mitteru, Central Local deputy tahsildar, taluk office staff, village administration officials, and village assistants.
