Belthangady: ALOHA 2022 - M Com students celebrate Fresher's Day  at Sacred Heart College

Belthangady, Feb 17: The Freshers day celebration for the new students of M Com in Sacred Heart college Madanthyar was organised recently at the PG Centre conference hall by the final year students under the banner "ALOHA 2022".

In the inaugural ceremony, Fr Basil Vas, correspondent of Sacred Heart Educational Institutions, presided over the programme. Dr Joseph N M, principal of Sacred Heart College Madanthyar, faculty members Nelson Monis, Venkatesh Nayak,  Emerson Crasta, Priya Mathew, Dilsun D'Souza and student representatives Wilma Priya Moras and Sharath Kumar were also present.

Nelson Monis gave the introductory remarks and welcomed the dignitaries. He also stated that the Department of Post graduation in commerce was about to complete a remarkable 10 years and thanked all the people concerned for being a great source of support thus far. 

Fr Basil Vas inaugurated the programme by lighting a lamp and wished all the success to the students in the upcoming endeavours in his presidential remarks. He assured his prayers and blessed everyone. Principal Dr Joseph N M in his message stated that it was important to learn a quality of appreciating when someone does good to the society. 

Later, student representative Wilma Priya Moras proposed a vote of thanks. Rashmitha and Jeshwitha compered the programme.

After the inaugural ceremony,  various activities were conducted. A dance and entertainment session was well organised by the senior students for all the newly admitted students.
