Rio De Janeiro, Dec 27 (IANS) The Brazilian national beach soccer team defeated the All-World team 6-2 to win the International Challenge of Beach Soccer.
In the match held in Sao Paulo, Brazil's Bruno Malias and Benjamin scored twice Sunday while Anderson and Betinho added a goal each. For the All-World team, Madjer and Bukhlitskiy scored the two goals, Xinhua reported.
The win marks Brazil's sixth straight against the best players in the world.
The International Challenge of Beach Soccer is only six years old, giving Brazil a perfect 6-0 record.
The All-World team had little time to prepare and organise their group of highly skilled athletes, making it hard to find rhythm.
Bruno Malias said the key to Brazil's success was teamwork and unselfishness, adding that in 2011, Brazil will work hard to win the World Cup of beach soccer and live up to its No.1 ranking.
The World Cup will be held next year in Italy.
