Media Release

Mangaluru, Jan 26: "Before you claim your right, please understand that my right is your duty and your right is my duty," said Charles Stany Pais, registrar of St Agnes College (Autonomous), who was the chief guest for the 73 Republic day at St Agnes College (Autonomous). Addressing the gathering, he continued that all owe a debt of gratitude to society.

"Our parents give birth to us. We love our parents. They are responsible for our upbringing. We owe them. Similarly, our country has given us an identity. Be proud to be an Indian and try to repay the debt of gratitude. Each one should contribute to the welfare and greatness of the country in your own way by excelling in whatever you undertake," he said.

The chief guest along with Sr Dr Vinora AC, the PG coordinator, Sr Clara AC, vice principal and Sr Jyotsna AC headmistress of Kannada Primary School unfurled the tricolour. The event was organised by NCC Army and Air Wing. Significance of the day and patriotic song was the part of celebration.
