Mangaluru, Jan 17: In a tragic incident, an elderly lady fell in a well and died near Pilar school, Ullal police station limits on Monday evening, January 17.

The deceased person is Kalyani (85), wife of Manjappa Pilar, residing near Pilar school. It is suspected that she slipped and fell into the well while drawing water when her son was away. She has left behind three daughters and two sons. A case of unnatural death has been registered in Ullal police station.
