Panaji: Two bodies of unidentified recovered by Ponda police

Panaji, Jan 11: Mortal remains of two males were recovered by the Ponda police in two separate incidents.

Police is trying to establish the identities of the deceased. Both are said to be in their 40s.

The body of one person was found at Kundaim industrial estate, while the other was recovered from Budhwar Peth in the town. According to the dress on the body, the police say that one body is that of a labourer while the other one is that of a truck cleaner.

It is suspected that both must have died due to some illness as the police could not find any injury marks on the bodies. However, the exact cause of death will be known only after the post mortem as per information given by Ponda PI Vijaykumar S Chodankar.
