Karkala: Social, Religious Leader, K Ravindra Bangera, Breathes His Last

Karkala, Nov 20: K Ravindra Bangera (38), a social and religious leader and BJP activist, succumbed to cardiac arrest at his office here on Friday November 19. He was working in the office of Shivagiri Constructions owned by him, when the end came.

He is survived by mother, wife and a daughter. He had been involved with various bodies in different capacities. He was the president of Yuvashakti Youth Club of Kariyakallu here, director of Yuvashakti Education Trust, and taluk general secretary of the Hanuman Chalisa Chanting Committee. He was an active worker of BJP and was involved with various religious activities.

A holiday was declared on Friday to educational institutions being run by Yuvashakti Education Trust, and merchants in Anekere area in the town downed their shutters, as a mark of respect to the deceased. Various dignitaries including former MLA, V Sunil Kumar, have mourned the untimely death of Bangera.
