Kundapur, Dec 2: “BJP should send a strong message by electing together with majority votes our candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary in the Vidhan Parishad elections on December 10,” said Kundapur MLA Halady Srinivas Shetty.

He was addressing the election preparatory meeting of members of municipal council and gram panchayat at Kundapur, Koteshwar and Beejady limits. The meeting was held by BJP Kundapur mandala at Kundapur BJP office on Thursday, November 2.

Vidhana Parishad election candidate Kota Srinivas Poojary said that he is confident that he has worked uninterrupted for gram panchayat members and members of local bodies within his capacity for the last 13 years. “I am the only candidate from BJP and I request you to elect me again for empowerment of the panchayat raj system,” he said.

Udupi district president Kuyilady Suresh Nayak, food and civil supplies corporation vice president Kiran Kumar Kodgi, district vice president Bykady Suprasad Shetty and district BJP chief secretary Sadananda Uppinakudru were present.

Kundapur mandala president Shanker Ankadakatte gave the initial address. Kundapur BJP chief secretary Suresh Shetty Beejady welcomed. Sathish Poojary Vakwady compered the programme.
