Bangalore: Kumaraswamy Re-elected as JDS State President

Bangalore, Nov 19: Former state Chief Minister, H D Kumaraswamy, has been re-elected as the state president of JDS. Returning officer for the election, H C Neeravari, announced his unanimous election, after the election process came to an end on Thursday November 18.

Kumaraswmy’s was the only nomination to have been filed for the election. Kumaraswamy, speaking to party activists and fans after accepting their greetings, garlands and bouquets, promised to work honestly and sincerely for the progress of the state. He said that he will strengthen the party towards this end by providing equal importance to all classes of the society.

    very good leader very active and inteligent, wish him all the best.some people are talking about democracy but they don't follow, specially BJP.

    This is not a surprising news. because there is no internal democracy in JDS, Congress. There is no other person than Kumaraswamy can become president. He & Devegowda are the party.
