Mangalore, Nov 18: Hindu Jagarana Vedike and Karnataka Power Lifting Association will hold Karnataka State Junior and Master Power Lifting Competition for men and women at Mahila Mandal, Kulai from Friday November 19 to Sunday November 21.
Vajradehi Mutt seer Rajashekarananda Swamiji will inaugurate the competition, while city mayor Rajani Duganna will preside. Hindu Jagarana Vedike state Convenor Jagadish Karanth, Karnataka Power Lifting Association president Sadanand Shetty and Karnataka Body Builders' Association president B Ravindranath Rai among others will be the chief guests.
The competition is expected to witness over 200 participants. The winners will represent the state for the south India level competition to be held in Tanjore in December and national level competition in Tamil Nadu in January 2011.
