Mangaluru: Brutal assault launched on youth, gang war suspected

Mangaluru, Nov 30: A youth was attacked by a gang under Urwa police station limits late night on Sunday November 28.

The injured youth is identified as Shravan.

He was attacked by a group of eight people belonging to ‘Alike’ gang. Previous enmity between two groups has led to this offence, informed police sources.

The attack is said to be in retaliation to one Indrajeeth murder case of 2020 in Barke.

The injured is a friend of one Ankit who is the brother of two accused of Indrajeeth murder case. Indrajeeth was murdered by Talvar Jagga gang or Bolur gang.

A case of under section IPC 307 is filed at Urwa police station.

Protectors of these gone case youths to be eliminated! these gangs are the parasites in society! Only because of provocation ,bad influence , and thanks to worst parenting these creatures are formed. Police are unable to work freely because of political interference ... Otherwise ...earlier many years ago ...well known honest police officers would drive the fear into these criminals.. Very many actors also play roles of criminals .. movies ... Become big hits ..box office ... Not many roles ...police officers like Sangliana etc etc ... Ultimately society suffers ..

Gang culture or fights used to be there from time immemorial and such culture will not wash away easily. Youth always depend on their friend circle for any skirmishes and to avenge when times is favourable. But its not worth because gang members cannot guarantee 24 hours security. Those days, I too had some strong bouncer friends just in case of any un foreseen eventualities. That helped me too. "A gang is the same as a wolf pack; gang members do not use their energies in friendship with one another, for they do not know what friendship is. If they are united, it is by the common bond of a desire to attack their world."
