Mangaluru, Nov 25: Srinivas University - College of Aviation Studies organized an airport visit for the BBA (Aviation Management), BBA (Aviation and Logistics Management), BBA (Aviation Travel and Tourism Management), MBA (Aviation Management) Students to Mangalore International Airport Limited on November 23 and 24. A team of 230 students and Four faculties visited Mangaluru International Airport for two days.
Students were divided into 10 teams and were guided by the airport officials towards terminal building of the airport which helped them to understand current scenarios in airport, and also knowing about the airport system, security checks, baggage handling, passenger handling, arrival and departure areas, and many more.
Since the academic curriculum focuses on engaging students in practical experiences to observe in implementation of what they are taught in the college, this visit was an informative, interesting, successful and fruitful one.
The airport Visit was planned and organized by Prof Pavithra Kumari, dean, College of Aviation Studies. Kavya Shri, Shashank and Roshin K Sibi, faculties of Aviation department accompanied the students.
