Paris, Nov 12 (IANS) India's Mahesh Bhupathi and Max Mirnyi of Belarus sealed their place in ATP World Tour Final while India's Rohan Bopanna and Pakistan's Aisam ul Haq Qureshi missed out on the opportunity.
Bhupathi and Mirnyi's 3-6, 6-1, 10-5 win over Jonathan Erlich and Michael Kohlmann for Paris Masters quarterfinals followed by top seeds Bob and Mike Bryan's hard fought 7-6(2), 7-6(5) victory against Wesley Moodie of South Africa and Dick Norman of Belgium late Thursday, ensured the sixth-seeded Indo-Belarusian pair the berth in London.
'The Indo-Pak Express' Bopanna and Qureshi failed in their bid to qualify for the London finale earlier in the day after their 3-6, 2-6 loss to Mark Knowles and Andy Ram in the second round.
Their loss means that Bopanna should be travelling to Guangzhou for the Asian Games.
