Mangaluru: BBA Aviation students of Srinivas University visit Pilikula

Mangaluru, Nov 11: An industrial visit to Pilikula Nisargadhama in Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka was organized by the BBA Aviation Department of Srinivas University for the first-year students on Wednesday, November 10. The team of 141 Aviation students and four faculties visited Pilikula Nisargadhama, which helped them to understand current scenarios in the environment, and also knowing about our planetarium system, etc. In this visit, students were very eagerly waiting for listening to industrial higher authorities.

At 10:30 am the group visited Pilikula Regional Science Centre. The students were divided in the batch of 15 for the visit and the interaction with the industry person. The regional head conducted a very informative and motivational session for the students. He also guided the students towards Swami Vivekananda Planetarium and Pilikula Biological Park.

Finally, the students left the premises at 2.00 pm. It was an informative, interesting and successful visit. As students of Aviation Department Srinivas University, they understood a requirement of nature, and importance of Science through Planetarium. The institute expressed gratitude to all team members of Pilikula Nisargadhama who spent their valuable time for the students. Gratitude was expressed to dean of College of Aviation Studies professor Pavithra Kumari for motivating to arrange such an informative programme.
