Mangalore, Nov 10: In general, there was a decline in the quantum of rains in the Karnataka coast on Tuesday November 9. The weather here was marked by dark clouds in the evening and rains in some places.
Subrahmanya got some rains on Tuesday. A few places in Beltangady taluk too received light rains in the evening. Drizzle was experienced on the night of Tuesday in the city, Bantwal, Puttur and other places. A few places in Kundapur taluk, which had received heavy rains on Monday, got intermittent drizzle.
Even as the farmers are awaiting the rains to disappear in order to be able to harvest their paddy crops, the meteorological department has predicted that rains will be experienced in a few places in the coast during the next two days.
