Mangaluru, Nov 9: On October 8, 2021, at 9.15 am, the Ladyhill English Higher Primary School Student Council held its inaugural ceremony for the academic year 2021 -22 in the school hall.
The student council had a total of 24 members. The programme began with the headmistress Sr Maisie and assistant HM Sr Jyothi Crasta lighting the lamp. Following that, the council members led a prayer service in which they invoked God’s blessings and guidance for everyone in the school.
The headmistress asked the members to examine their conscience and determine for themselves whether they are qualified to be leaders, to which they replied, 'Yes, we are.'
The headmistress presented the cabinet members with the sash and badges, after which they took their oath to be responsible leaders. The headmistress congratulated the members and gave an inspiring message through a powerpoint presentation titled 'Follow the rules' on behalf of the teachers and students. She asked everyone in attendance at this event to follow the school motto, 'Through Effort to Glory,' and to pay attention to the small details that will help them succeed. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
