Bangalore: Four Nabbed for Armyman's Murder

Bangalore, Nov 8 (PTI): Four persons, including a woman, were arrested today in connection with an army man's death after he was attacked at a railway station here.

Satish alias Kumar, native of Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu), Anthony alias Guru, Kumar Naik alias Pradeep and Suma alias Soumya were nabbed in the city in the wee hours, Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari told reporters.

All the four are professional offenders who have been convicted in several cases, including murder, in the city and have served a jail term.

He said they have written to Director General of Police to transfer the case from the railway police to Upparpet police station in the city for proper investigation.

Navathinder Singh of Punjab regiment had succumbed to serious injuries after he tried to rescue a Railway Protection Force constable, who was attacked by a gang, yesterday.

    It is known to police that these are professional offenders including murder !!!! Why these people are left out...to kill more people ??? Close them or because keeping these guy's in the jail is also waste of money.

    Excellent job. But I do feel its better to unveil the masked men as the general public can see them. It gives a better view to people if they may have seen such criminals in other crimes. Masking these criminals gives doubt to the public...
