Mangaluru, Nov 2: Jashan Chabra, student of Mount Carmel Central School in the city secured fifth rank in the All India NEET examination. He scored 715 out of 720 marks.
The results of All India NEET examinations, which gives an opportunity to study medical education at all India level, were declared in New Delhi on the night of Monday, November 1.
One student each from the states of Telangana, Delhi and Maharashtra secured 720 marks out of maximum 720 and secured the first three ranks. Fourth rank is bagged by a student of Uttar Pradesh who scored 716 marks. Twelve students including Jashan Chabra of the city and H K Megan, student of Pramati Hill View Academy Mysuru, have secured fifth rank by scoring 715 marks out of 720.
Jashan had scored 97.2% in CBSE 12th standard examinations and secured first rank in his college. Now he has earned an opportunity to study medical science in the top most college of the country by securing fifth rank.
