Dubai, Oct 25: Community Members of Padmashali UAE gathered at Karama Centre Hall, Dubai on 22nd October 2010 at around 9 AM and conducted Shree Satyanarayana Pooja with large numbers of devotees attended. Padmashali UAE formed recently with enthusiastic members to cater to their community people in UAE were happy to have this pooja as their maiden event for this year.
Purohit Shri. Hari Prasad conducted the pooja formalities while senior couple Gopal Shettigar and Leelavathi Shettigar sat for the pooja on behalf of their community members. They travelled all the way from India to receive this honour. In the midst of the well decorated rangavalli was a ‘nanda deepa’ and the pooja started with ‘Sumangalis’ lighting the ‘nanda deepa’.
With the dynamic leadership of Ravi Shettigar Karkala, the Padmashali UAE Sangha got into formation recently and many members of Padmashali community all over UAE have extended their full support by attending the sacred pooja. The pooja formalities went on very well with aarathis and chanting of the mantras.
Sachin and group started the bhajans followed by Sree Narayana Seva Samithi Group who rendered various bhakti songs in praise of the Lord.
The pooja mantap was well decorated with flowers by Rajesh Kuthar and his friends who are well known and always being invited to do the set up. The Lords seat and the pedestal was well prepared and decorated by Muralidhar Krishna Shettigar & Giridhar Nayak.
All the devotees watched and participated in the full pooja formalities until mangalaarathi. Later Mahaprasada was distributed and all the devotees returned home after having this mahaprasada a delicious vegetarian lunch prepared by Swadisht Restaurant Karama.
Ex-President of Karnataka Sangha Sharjah, Ganesh Rai praised the organizers for concluding this grand pooja in a purely devotional way and blessed them for their future programmes. Billawas Dubai & Northern Emirates President, Mohan Attavar also wished Padmashali UAE all the best to march forward serving the community more efficiently in this part of the world.
Various community leaders and social workers viz., Mohan Attavar, Ramachandra Hegde, Dr. Udayashankar, Ganesh Rai, Giridhar Naik, Shodhan Prasad, Raghu Bhat, Jovin Pangala & Ashok Belman were called upon on the forefront and felicitated for their good deeds.
