CM Pramod Sawant reveals information about schools reopening

Panaji, Oct 1: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said, Goa is thinking about reopening schools for classes 9-12 before Diwali. The schools have been closed since the outbreak of Covid -19, last year and are most likely to resume classes before November 4.

Pramod Sawant was quoted by PTI “An expert committee of doctors has given it’s go ahead for the resumption of these classes in a phased manner.”

The chief minister added saying, The expert committee decision will be presented before the State Covid-19 Task force, which will make the final decision on this very matter. The State education department will be informed on the decision made by the task force, and classes will start in a phased manner.
