Udupi: Harvest Festival Celebrated at CSI Ebenezer Church, Malpe

Udupi, Oct 13: The Harvest Festival was celebrated at CSI Ebenezer Church, Malpe here under the leadership of church priest Fr Buckhart Berty, recently.


Fr Prem Kumar Soans of Karnataka Southern Diocese was the chief guest for the guest and he led the prayer service.  Br Vijay assisted him in the service. 

The new paddy sheaves were blessed and taken in a procession along with the faithful holding sugarcane and was brought to the church.

Various sports events were organized on behalf of the fest in the afternoon. The prize-distribution ceremony was held following the events. Fr Buckhart Berty presided. Fr Kishor Kumar conducted the prayer service.

Dr A V Baliga Hospital’s medical director Dr P V Bhandary was the chief guest. Stalin Amanna compered the programme. Prakash Kotian welcomed and Navin Santhosh Amanna proposed the vote of thanks. J W Jathanna among others were present on the occasion.
