Kaup, Sep 17: In what can be called a proud moment for Coastal Karnataka, Dr Einsha Huda from Kaup, has been awarded a golden visa by the UAE government. She is the first Ayurvedic doctor to be honoured with the golden visa from the twin districts.
Dr Einsha hails from a middle class family. She gives all credit to the almighty and her parents Peer Mohammed and Gulshan Mohammed for her success. “My parents have been my support system and always encouraged me to study hard and aim high,” she says. She also remembers her late grandfather retired forester Haji Abdul Khader for always believing in her dreams. She expressed a special gratitude to all her teachers and mentors.
After finishing her schooling at Vidyaniketan School Udupi, Dr Einsha joined SDM College of Ayurveda on merit and graduated as bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery in the year 2011. Even after her marriage and having a baby, she continued her post-graduation course in Panchakarma from KMC Manipal University and graduated in the year 2015.
She got the license to practice in the UAE by clearing an examination from Ministry of Health UAE in 2017 and since then she is successfully practicing Ayurveda. Her expertise in treating skin conditions, obesity, arthritis, auto immune disorders, anxiety and depression has made her very famous among her patients. She is also being applauded for treating disc related disorders through therapeutic yoga. She has also presented a paper on lifestyle diseases at the World Conference of Ayush. Presently, she is a secretary of Emirates Ayurvedic Graduates Association EAGA in UAE. She delivers talks on Ayurveda for corporates and has given TV programmes on Ayurveda. Dr Einsha is an online consultant to a few clinics overseas. She wishes to pursue further studies and a PhD in the field of science.
Apart from being a professional doctor, she is a Bharatnatyam dancer and a Yakshagana artiste and also has a black belt in karate. Dr Einsha has bagged a state level award as a guide and a national level prize for her poetry in Hindi. She wants to keep training and keep following all her passions.
“If I was not a doctor, I would be a historian for my extraordinary interest in history. If am doing nothing, you will find me reading history books,” she says.
