Udupi, Sep 8: Chairman of Udupi Urban Development Authority (UUDA), K Raghavendra Kini, said that a proposal has been sent to the government seeking to sanction five additional posts in the UUDA,
"Work pressure in UUDA is mounting. In addition to the eight posts currently created to smoothly attend to day-to-day work, the government has been approached with a proposal to create five additional posts," he said.
The meeting chaired by Raghavendra Kini at the UUDA office on Tuesday September 7 decided to develop the pond at Udyavar Sampigenagar, public pond near the Naganakatte in Moodubettu ward, and park near kappettu Pade in Ambalpady gram panchayat. It was also decided to create a park near Hudco colony, Doddanagaudde.
It was also decided to fix CCTV cameras in the UUDA office to ensure transparency. The meeting also decided to provide seating and furniture for the use of visitors at the UUDA office. It was decided to stop collection of development fee as per the new fee payment guideline received from the government.
UUDA commissioner and Kundapur assistant commissioner, K Raju, UUDA members, PWD executive engineer, Jagadish Bhat, Ganaraj Bhat of Mescom and other officials were present.
