Mangalore, October 6: Pejavar seer Vishweshateertha Swamiji on Wednesday October 6 continued his ‘Samarasya Yatra' from Kanvateertha Temple near Talapady seeking unity among Hindus.
The ambitious walkathon began at the temple after offering special pooja in presence of priests and political leaders.
Mangalore MLA UT Khader welcomed the mission at Talapady by offering the pontiff a basil garland.
On his way to Talapady, Pejawar seer visited a couple of Dalit houses in nearby areas.
The seer had earlier promised to visit houses belonging to poor families irrespective of caste and religion in order to create awareness on the values of Hindutva.
Pejawar seer Samarasya Yatre Samiti Convenor Prof M B Puranik, Dakshina Kannada District Kannada Sahitya Parishat president Pradeep Kumar Kalkura among others were present.
The yatra is expected to enter the city in the morning on Friday October 8.

Swamiji as part of his yatra, undertook padayatra at Thoominaaadu SC colony near Manjeshwar along with other seven swamijis.
