Mangaluru, Aug 16: Srinivas University, Mangaluru and K-tech Centre of Excellence in Aerospace and Defence, GoK, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding on July 27, 2021 on a virtual platform. The MoU is mainly focussed on Academic aspects, Research and Development in the field of Aerospace and Defence.

Dr P S Aithal – vice chancellor, Srinivas University said, considering the demand and opportunities in the field of Aerospace and Defence, Srinivas University, Mangaluru is launching a 4 years futuristic BTech program in Aerospace and Defence Technologyunder at College of Engineering and Technology in Mukka campus, which is first of its kind in Karnataka.

Cmde C D Balaji (Retd) chairman of K-Tech CoE A&D said Aeronautic encompasses every branch of engineering. All kind of technologies are required in this field. This course can breed new technologies further than existing in B.Tech.

Dr A Srinivas Rao – pro chancellor of Srinivas University said that Srinivas University is grateful towards K-Tech center of Excellence in Aeropace and Defence for bring the most wanted course since it serves Indian and Global military.

K-tech Centre of Excellence in Aerospace and Defensehas renowned scientists and experts in Aerospace and Defence domain, they have sophisticated laboratories and software’s supplied by Dassault Systems from France. The students and faculty of Srinivas University will be greatly benefited by this collaboration to enrich their expertise in the current and futuristic technologies.The MoU is mainly focused on academic and research collaboration in the field of Aerospace and Defense technologies.
