Kasargod, Aug 13: Two students died in an accident between a bike and car in Kollam.

The deceased are identified as Chaithanya (20), a resident of Alamipalli of Kanhangad and B N Govind (20) of Kundara in Kollam.

Both were pursuing their engineering at CET College in Thiruvananthapuram.

The accident took place at Kannicode on the Kollam-Chengot national highway. Ten friends were on a tour on five bikes after their exams. The mishap took place when a speeding car rammed into one of the bikes, said eye witnesses.

    Mr.Vivek, where does the news say they were drunk or were on drugs?? Don’t accuse someone who is dead of what they did not do without knowing the fact. Karma comes back. The family and friends of the deceased who are already in deep pain will read this, imagine what they will go through.

    Vivek mangalore Abudhabi,and Manohar mangalore,kindly read the news carefully,if you need any glasses ?Just think of parents ,family members of these youngsters before you pen.Nowhere it is noted they were under drugs ,.It was the car which caused the accident.It is always the innocent people who die ,causers dont get any injuries.Heartfelt sympathies to the families.Their dream of getting children education better job or a good future is gone floated.May their lives find peace in Heaven.

    Really sad. Motor bikes should be banned from national highways. There is absolutely no safety for 2wheelers and 3 wheelers at the speeds that cars, buses and trucks operate.
