Mangaluru: Laptop, iPhone stolen from parked car near MUDA office

Mangaluru, Aug 7: Thieves broke open the glass of window of a parked car in front of MUDA office at Urwa Store in the city and stole a laptop, iPhone and cheque leaves of various banks on Friday August 7.

Abhishek, who works as an executive in one of the companies in the city, had locked and parked his car in front of MUDA office at 12 noon and had gone to the hotel for lunch. As he returned at 12.25 pm and saw the glass of the backdoor of the car was broken and the bag, laptop and iPhone kept in the car were stolen.

The value of the stolen goods is said to be Rs one lac.

A case in this connection is registered at Urwa police station.
