Bengaluru, Aug 1: Coronavirus infections are increasing again in south and north west Indian states. Positivity rate in 46 districts of 10 states including Karnataka has risen to 10%. The rate is 5 to 10% in 35 other districts.

The union health ministry which released this information has warned the 10 corona hotspot states to be vigilant about the increasing rate of Covid infections.

The number of coronavirus infected patients is rising everyday in the neighbouring state of Kerala. More than 20,000 cases are being reported in Kerala every day for the past five days. This will endanger Karnataka also, as per the alert issued by the union health ministry.

In addition to Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Orissa, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Manipur are in the hotspot list released by the union health ministry.

The union health ministry has issued instructions with respect to control of coronavirus and said that prohibition should be placed on unnecessary movement of people, gathering of crowds and huge functions. Secondary contacts should be tested without fail. Testing should be increased. Those who are home isolated should be monitored and district-wise statistics of infection spread should be detected through Sero survey.

Time to forcibly evacuate entire cities and move the populations to vast quarantine centers. These centers will have state of the art surveillance and non-compliance will not be tolerated.

If These RTPCR tests positive for common cold and flu then definately positivity rate increases during this rainy season as common cold are also corona viruses. This is how Western liberal elites and communist chinese make use of slightly modified common cold with the hyped number through these cold and normal flu figures using RTPCR test to raise fear to force equally deadly and infecting adeno virus and other vaccines to spread the virus even more, to make more billions dollors in vaccine business same time depopulate billions to save planet from so called global warming? And we indians including, doctors, media, politicians, administration blindly assisting them in their crime against humanity? And their plan looks like with vaccines reduce immunity and then bring some other strong virus monkey pox, ebola, small pox to reduce population in the name of saving planet from global warming ? Same time gobble world resources and to bring comminist new world order ?

The comments of Shankar above reflect the utter casualness of authorities and the people towards the Covid Pandemic that has taken all of us a Roller Coaster Ride. We seem to be Content to be reacting to situations instead of nipping in the bud a likely developing situation especially with the fatalities involved that have devastated families.

Again, I would say that it is pure stupidity to ascribe hotspots based on positivity rates. When only one single person is tested and if he turns out to be positive, then the positivity rate is 100%! The simple fact is that in Karnataka and Kerala, people are educated and when they get symptoms, they go and get tested. So, most of the tests turn out to be positive, thus increasiting the positivity rate. In other states, people do not go to get tested, instead opt for home remedies. The officials, test people randomly, mostly with no symptoms to fulfill the mandatory test numbers and so most of the tests turn out to be negative. Hence low positivity rates!!
