Kasargod: Body of youth who went missing from Netravati bridge found

Kasargod, Jul 31: The mortal remains of the man who left his bike engine running and went missing from Netravati bridge at Panemangalore on July 28 morning, was found later at Manjeshwar Kanwatheertha sea shore.

The person is identified as Sathyavelu (29), a resident of Dasarahalli in Bengaluru.

Kasargod coastal police reached the spot and sent the body to Kasargod general hospital. Police had informed his family members in Bengaluru about the incident. His family members reached Kasargod and identified the body.

The deceased was employed in a private company in Bengaluru. He had left home on his bike on July 28 and was reported missing. His mother had lodged a missing person’s complaint with Bengaluru police. Meanwhile, his bike was found on the bridge.

Police sources have said that his body has been handed over to his family members after post-mortem at the Kasargod general hospital.
