Mangaluru, Jul 31: A complaint is filed in Surathkal police station of the city in which a woman is accused of stealing the golden ornaments of younger sister, who got married just five months ago, and eloping with her paramour.
The woman who stole the golden ornaments and eloped with her paramour was working as a teacher in a private English medium school. As her husband works in Dubai, the accused lived in her father’s house. Her younger sister got married five months ago. She had left her ornaments in the house of her father.

The accused, elder daughter of the person, who has filed the complaint, went to school on duty on July 26 and did not return back to home. When the father opened the cupboard and checked, golden ornaments of younger sister were missing.
It is suspected that the accused woman is in love with a youth from Krishnapura and must have fled with him. A case in this connection is registered based on the complaint filed by the father of the accused.
