Mangaluru, Jul 27: Grandparents are the family’s most valued treasures. The founders of love and bonding, the greatest story tellers, the believers of the traditions that is cherished always in our memory. They are the family’s strongest foundation. Their very special love sets them apart proves they are unique and special.

Through happiness and sorrow, through their special love and care the grandparents are the super human beings who keep a family close to heart. Grandparents' love never gets old.

St Agnes school (CBSE) recognised a unique day during this pandemic. A day to remember and recognise the silent heroes to every child their very own grandparents. This year Pope Francis announced a new celebration in honour of all grandparents and elderly who are important to communities. The first World Day of Grandparents and Elderly will be celebrated every year on the fourth Sunday in July. In honour to this day St Agnes school arranged a short event to mark the importance of this day. The students captured their memorable moments with their grandparents to show their love and care towards them.
