A Good hearted and able leader from our konkan coast. Proud son of our land like George fernandes ji. During his hay days he yielded lot of power and he also was kingmaker when he was chief secretary to congress chief. I met him long back when he was in power circles in delhi. And helped many of us from south canara those days, and even my BJP friends from Karnataka took his help, he was always forthcoming. I wish him all the best and a swift recovery,

Surgery for a clot in the brain, especially in the elderly, is precariously devastating... Most suffer from paralysis... Hope he recovers at the earliest !!! His political innings are inconsequential... as he was a selected and not an elected leader !!!!

He has also been elected by people. As per your logic everyone is selected leader and not elected leaders except for those who won as independents and not supported by parties.Anyways we wish Oscar Fernandes a speedy recovery so that he could continue his mission and vision in life.

He has also been elected by people .As per logic only independents who have won elections can be considered elected and those who have won on a partys symbol are selected and not elected. Wish Oscar Fernandes a speedy recovery so that he could continue his Vision and Mission in life.
